My name is Daniela – or Dani, if you’d like. I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Idaho and a National Certified Counselor. I specialize in working with adult individuals, couples, and individuals from the BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ communities. I work together with you to alleviate feelings of overwhelm and distress, to increase your self-awareness, build healthy relationships with others and with yourself, recover from trauma, and feel empowered in your journey. With couples, I work collaboratively with you to build connection, understanding, and healthy relational skills to help you successfully navigate relationship challenges. With all my clients – I focus on your inner strengths and courage, needs and experiences, history and culture, and aspirations and values to help you reach your goals. My approach to counseling is an integrative one, where I prioritize utilizing techniques and tools that will best resonate with you. At the core of my work, I use an emotion-focused, trauma-informed, cultural and relational, systems-focused, mindfulness-based, and person-centered approach.
